Pictures from Beach Weekend

We're thankful for family friends that let us crash on their family vacation for a couple of days.

A stop in Beaufort meant lunch at Moe's (YUM!) and a trip to the waterfront playground.

We met a guy who was crabbing. He taught me how to grab them without getting pinched. That came in handy later on in our vacation.

Lots of boogie boarding. Good waves around high tide. But low tide let us walk out to a sandbar about one-third of a mile offshore.

This guy is fearless.

A deer came up to the deck, and we fed him watermelon rinds. One girl was able to hand-feed him.

It was a fun time, and a much-needed get-away for our family!
